"Who are you? You are the the truth out screaming these lies. You are the truth, saving my life."
Would you be there, when the empire falls?
okay.
so that header picture? I made it. cool right? it's a little bit off center because it's my journal cover that I scanned, but I really don't care. I think it looks cool still. :].
I was flipping through my journal and I came across a cool entry that I wrote, and I decided to put it in here:
If you think about it, trees offer up hope to us. For me, personally, they give me hope. Why? because in their own way, trees are like us. Trees get diseases, which cause them to die earlier in their life span, like people. They still live on with diseases; push forward until they can't anymore, their time is up.
When it rains out, trees basically hold on to all that rain in its branches and leaves, and water often drips off trees hours later because they're so filled up with water. This relates to us as people, because, in our own way, when it rains in our life, we're filled with problems and we often hold on to those problems. We carry those problems, not for hours, but for days, months, maybe even years.
The air we breathe, it's provided by the trees that surround us.
Sometimes, when you look around, trees are by themselves. Other times, trees come in pacts. It's kinda like people.. Some people walk through life by themselves, never with family, or friends, or any type of support system. Other people though, live their life with people all the time, never giving themselves a minute alone.
Trees existence is just like ours, a brief moment in time.
It may just be me. I don't know. I may sound like an extreme wing nut. I really don't care.
I'm just ready to live at life's full potential. I have my whole life ahead of me. So when an opportunity comes along, no matter what it is, I'm ready to take it.
smile. :].
