"Who are you? You are the the truth out screaming these lies. You are the truth, saving my life."
Kiss me like you’ll never see me again.
I love observing people. Getting a sense of who they are, what they believe in, what hurts them, what drives them, any clue that gives me in sight into their life.
There's something I've sensed that haunts a lot of people:
the past.
Couples tend to use the past against one another. I used to get hit with the whole, "you were close to him before we started going out. do you know how that made me feel?"
I hear my brother's girlfriend hassle him about things that he did in the past, with other girls before she came along. My dad will get angry at my mom for her smoking, and she'll turn around and say, "remember all the friday nights you came home from the bar at 3 in the morning?"
I went down that road, dealt with the bitterness over the past. I learned that the past will destroy a relationship.
people live in the past, like it's going to change their relationship by throwing it at the other person. when all it does is make things worse.
I'm not saying I know it all. but from my one relationship, and my observation, it seems to me that the past tears people apart.
Everything happens for a reason. If someone learns from their mistakes, it can only better them as a person for the future.
I opened up my door.
I'm counting down the days
